My UX Journey

I began as a freelance writer with the inspiration to write a novel. My online articles were published in a range of industries like cannabis, health, travel, wine and architecture. 

I had ambitions to excel my career so I transitioned into copywriting and content creation. I refined my copy writing to create tailored brand voices across the different companies I worked for, from nutrition and grilling to hormones and teas, creating website copy, product descriptions, user guides and interface text. 

UX writing works for me because I was working in it long before I knew the name of the profession.

Hi, I'm Annie. I'm a personality type INFJ-A. I'm not your typical type-A personality. I'm organized and analytical, yes, but also California laid-back and creative. I will engage just enough to collect all the data, then lock myself in a sound-proof bubble until I've completed the tasks I assigned myself. As an introvert who craves intimate and meaningful socialization, I choose quality over quantity. I'll keep you updated but if you haven't heard from me in a while, I'm probably tweaking every last details prior to deadline. I like to read books and research articles to enhance my know-how, challenge my opinions and chip away at biases. And after forming words, I like to form clay or observe the form of mountains.
